Hospital Services
The RFDS provides varying degrees of inpatient and outpatient services at base hospitals.
In Meekatharra Hospital, we provide all of the hospital and general practice services for the town and surrounding area using RFDS doctors based in Meekatharra.
A new development in 2008 is to enhance this service with additional experienced general practitioners, employed by the RFDS, providing a fly-in fly-out service from the hospital. These doctors also provide assistance in after hours management of emergency patients and inpatients at the hospital.
